I am a college student, and typically all I take to my classes is my laptop and a notebook or two for notes, as well as pens and pencils. This bag is absolutely perfect for that - has a pocket for small items (I use it for pens and my iPod and cell phone) and two pen sleeves. It has an outside pocket that I use for my laptop chord and wireless mouse like the picture shows. On the opposite side there is also a slim pocket that I usually use for papers or other flat objects since that side goes against my back when I wear it as a backpack. I personally think the convertibility between backpack and messenger back is awesome - I actually switch back and forth every now and then. When it's cold I prefer the messenger, but when the weather's nice I like having it more secure as a backpack.
My laptop is an Acer and measures 12.1" and it fits VERY snugly into the bag. It's not a hassle to open or close,... Read more
