The foam is very easy to form and craft, however plan very carefully because mistakes are fixable but use caution, save your foam! The case is lockable (I use medium Master 131T Locks) and also has a location for a shoulder strap if necessary. Construction is military grade and is, as stated, waterproof. I chose the light grey color, favoring black, however in the summer the heat and sun may cook the contents with black. I am very pleased with this purchase and from a standpoint of longevity it should last the life of the camera and protect the contents. By the way this case comfortabily fits my D90, Nissin Di866 Flash, Sigma 70-200 2.8, Nikon 18-105 3.5, Filters, Strap, Lens cleaners, and batteries.

I bought one for my new camera being I was traveling on a road trip and I knew it would be tossed around a lot in the RV we rented. I got one with dividers and they are very easy to customize. The latches are far superior to some of the other brands and this thing is solid as a rock!

So if we have to bail from the ship we have emergency radio, sat phone and GPS all together in one case. It is a high quality, waterproof, and convenient way to keep all these items together ont he Bridge ready to go.
